We are so appreciative of the impact that 3rd Chance has in our community. Thanks to, a young man had the opportunity to secure permanent housing. It made all the difference in his life – we know how important it is to have a place to stay. The direct financial assistance that 3rd Chance can provide is often the missing piece of the puzzle for peaople’s housing journey. Without that, some will not be able to make the step into stable housing. Thank you for helping our most vulnerable neighbors!

As a Community Health Worker, I am responsible for locating appropriate resources for many of my students and their families. Recently, we had a family of 4, with 2 young students, who were facing being displaced from their home due to loss of employment. With the help of Ms. Frazier & Third Chance Housing, we were able to locate the funding and resources to keep this family in their home for another month!

Good evening Shakeva I wanted to reach out and personally thank you for today; you stepped in and helped me on the shortest of notice ever. When I received the Writ of Eviction on Monday, not only was I shocked and in disbelief, but I knew I was going to have to fight only having 4 days to come up with all of the money or end up packing all of mine and my children’s belongings, I tried talking and pleading with my landlords to give me until Monday because I didn’t get the full 10 days from the Writ but they had clearly washed their hands with me and wasn’t trying to help at all, even told me they would need Junes rent payment upfront to take back the Writ but I knew that wasn’t right. Today, I felt defended and like someone understood and cared about me; I’m more than thankful to you and Third Chance Housing for believing in me and making sure my babies have a home to come back to. We literally threw away and packed up 2.5 years of living, moved out, and back in in two hours!!! Thank you!

I want to personally thank Third Chance Housing for providing financial assistance to my clients at L & G Support and Resource Co. in crisis stabilization services. Third Chance Housing has assisted our clients with economic hardships and helped them regain independence, self-sufficiency, and stability. It has addressed pre-crisis needs to prevent eviction or termination of utility services. The clients who have utilized this non-profit organization appreciate the agency for assisting them in their time of need.
